Based off a sunrise/sunset for the cross over of shine for sun and cleaning

Law Firm using a wave effect and simple serif formal font. Corporate branding required an ambiguous but subtle logo with affinity representing a bond between the company and the clients.

Logo developed for the horse racing and breeding industry. Went for a regal look in order to present a high stakes breeder and trader of thoroughbred horses.

Another Horse Breeding / Thoroughbred trader. Modern approach to logo to differentiate from other local traders. Cropped Horse was for subtlety and to be used in various aspects of all print media.

Australian Government Directory wanted a new approach to the Purple Book listing all government departments. The use of Red and Purple on the cover was a discordance but proved effective. The a - @ was a flick of modern to an aged condependium.

I simple and clear marine logo. Nothing spectacular but needed a bit more body that the usual minimalist boating logo due to the demographic of shipwrights.

An ABC approach to a bookkeeping logo. Bright simple colours to represent friendly and approachable. Bold text to also communicate easily. The idea is to indicate that the company finds bookkeeping easy, to make your life easy etc.

I never knew that Bydland was some sort of deer. I'm still not 100% sure. But this logo was a fresh approach to a very sterile designed market, property. Without the usual plain text corporate branding we went for a bright pink and a deer as the logo. Not a bad result I have to add.

Cafe needed modernising but wanted to retain its aged customer base. Hi traffic area needed something simple and clear to catch the attention of passerby's.

Coffee / Book store wanted to integrate an old / new mix with an edge of coffee. Dense Metro area in need of an edgy approach to youth for the nearby university.

Before this restaurant franchised into Brisbane and Maloolabah, they requested a rebrand. I bubbled the logo and included a silhouette of Marilyn Monroe. The reason for this is when I asked what Chutney Mary meant, the owner simply replied "Marilyn Monroe, she is Chutney Mary".

This logo designed itself. Being able to do a clean bed was open field as some research into cleaning and bed brands brought nothing. Which allowed me to develop this unique logo which is simple yet highly effective.

Represented in various country and coast colours with the wave effect flowing against the layers of coast forming to country. Unique colour in order to differentiate from the other real estates.

A alternative medicine centre with various different professionals in the one building. Generic cool and calm feel with the blue to symbolise relaxations and calmness and the natural element as well as the coastal including water.

5mins away from walking out of the office on Christmas holidays the phone rang and it was this client introducing themselves in need of marketing. This logo was very common around the North Gold Coast on signage and on the web. Great Customer, shows how you should always pick up the phone.

Real simple trendy cool internet cafe. Became a nice cropped window feature on the Gold Coast Highway. Was definitely eye-catching.

Developed this logo for a new range of wines by Watson Wine Group. Was gold foiled onto a large range of wine bottles that was distributed around the world and predominantly through Asia.

Simple 2D/3D Crane logo that was put to use immediately. Could barely finalise it before the client sent out to all his employees. It serves it's purpose but a early attempt at 2D/3D objects.

Scanning Daniel's hands was easy and the whole logo fell into place nicely. Well balanced with the visual elements vs the text. Slight changes have been made over the years but has proved very successful branding.

This logo looked a million dollars when we constructed a sign made from cut 50mm Foam letters offset from a corrugated steel wall. Due to a change in council law the sign had to be removed only after 12months, but was incredibly effective visually. Simple yet effective.

One of my first logos but still one of my favourites. Subtle design elements but still rivals a modern look today sporting only two colours.

Shows what can be developed under pressure. This client was opening a inner city (Gold Coast) Store within 1 week. Therefore I had to develop this logo overnight to be used throughout packaging and signage. The result of some pencils, a scanner and modern technology I was able to create this fun logo. Turned out the client didn't pay his bills to not only us but all his tradesman. The business never opened it's doors... pity.

A stamp of authority for an 80yr old man. Donald Turned 80 in 2008 and I worked closely with his wife in developing an array of invitational and event media for his birthday. This logo was turned into a wax stamp and used on over 100 invites containing many different forms of printed media.

Design particularly with an open door symbology for the client sells networking to larger businesses and is a business development consultant. Green is his colour and also has a lot of symbolic references to active and attention.

With honourable mention to Stephen Richards from stevesartworx.com for the sketching, This was a fantastic looking hair and beauty salon in Tanah Merah. The pattern we developed was used on a monochrome wallpaper throughout the shop.

Representing a modern flower arrangement at a regal look, this logo was developed in order to cater for the corporate flower market in branching out from the retail passerby's. Beautiful flowers by an amazing Florist, also partnered with Paradise Point Florists and Main Beach Florists on the Gold Coast.

What more can I say? Modelled off the Red-Heads logo of matches as this Disc Jockey has an amazing crop of red locks which is his signature scalp behind the decks. A Flynnsane logo for an insane DJ.

Simple and straight forward in communicating the brand and with a use of a fresh bright orange to capture attention in a busy environment in Sydney.

This logo was developed with the intention of having the logo silver foiled onto a card. With the development of multi-coloured foiling we were able to create this logo for the use on a business card only to represent a real striking and 'bling' appeal which what the makeup artist signature.

This logo was designed to go the full length of a racing car (two actually) and their trailer. This brand went round the track amongst a plethora of other vehicles and would often take first place. Won the award for best presented vehicle in it's division 3yrs running.

Although not entirely representing the company and it's product, this was another pencil and scanner development that eventuated into a fun and quirky logo. The 'Giant Mouse' was to refer to the sole operator appearing bigger than they actually were.

With works in tiling and other surface finishes, this logo was developed in the aspect of the swirls of plastering and also the tiling and tape. Colours were discordant but worked nicely.

Catering for the mid to high wealth demographic we aimed at developing something that had a regal and corporate professional look.

A fun and quirky logo for a tourist map. This logo represented a large map which was designed to represent the Golg coast in a Comical form with all the main tourist events and places highlighted on the map. The logo reflected the fun animation style that was developed for the map.

A fun party logo for a large event for the Griffith University Village.

Modelled off a Chinese symbol with an added wave to give it a more harmonious flow to the alternative medicine method that acupuncture entails.

This logo was based on the design and construction style by using lines and block text. The various colours in the segment is to present a shading effect and add dimension to the logo.

Drafting and design logo focused on circles lines and measurements in the logo as well as adopting a blue and a wave for the coastal element of the design.

The previous logo was unchanged for 40yrs and needed a huge revamp. I kept the same font, angled it and added a paint splash for the history of the company involving sign writing the old paint brush style. Developing signage for a large portion of the Gold Coast, this logo proved really effective on vehicles as quite a large splash.

Designed for a silver / chrome brochure and other print media. The flowing floral effect was used as a backdrop and subtle compliment on images and other media.

Revamped from a previous shy soft coloured logo, we used more earthy colours to add a natural feel and used a solid font to give clarity in it's use.

A transport and logistics company that requested a clear and concise logo to represent their fleet and company in easy to read yet modern look. The Blue colouring was an existing element to their previous branding.

An Australiana approach to a children's play fun idea. A large theme of characters were developed for this and produced along the same lines as the Joey character.

A mechanics logo with a little bit of a difference. I tried to go a bit more 3 dimensional with the text and backdropping a subtle spanner to indicate symbolically what the business was focused on.

A black and white logo to reflect the photography industry and to compliment it's surrounds when overlaid onto photo's as a signature. Used on a black website and complimented nicely.

A clothing brand label that was created with several supporting logo's and variations for screenprinted T-Shirts. The Flowing butterfly design and purples / pinks was for the feminine market.

Another honourable mention to Stephen Richards from stevesartworx.com for the profile sketch. Supporting the electrical logo to give it character and recognition in the market. This evolved into vehicle graphics that turned out quite nicely.

Wedding invitations done in pure monochrome on recycled papers. The logo when printed in the solid black picked some of the paper off and gave it a soft imperfect effect and an almost hand developed look. Supported the style of the wedding and inspired the wedding cake design.

A Finance logo that was developed to give a corporate and professional edge to a small business. The colours were used in reflection of the characters inside the business who were very focused and professional. Reflects the personality without losing the professional edge.

Wasn't sure into much to what it means as the customer said it was just a name. But the logo is to combine Japan with Australia in a comical fun way to represent a Japanese food stall catering to Australians.

A much needed rebrand to a Varsity Lakes Cafe. Mokacino's Cafe needed a sort of signature to give ownership to 'Mokacino' but also create a stylish edge to the cafe.

Developed with a marketer starting out and breaking a new scene, we needed something fresh and a completely unique colour palette. We when for some discordance in the colour scheme without being too forward thinking. We wanted edge and an unageing logo which I think we nailed well.

Redesigned from a much simpler format the client requested a decorative addition and manipulation of her current logo. We adjusted the type and created a border frame around the design to give it an older style hand held mirror frame, as beauty is the perception of ones self or others.

Monochrome and simple design to symbolise a flower wreath and to compliment the flowers in the shop.

Loved doing this logo as it was a fun quirky design that was eye capturing and worked well. Client was extremely happy with the design after previously having the design done from other designers which was nothing of what he requested. We nailed it first go.

PressQ printers was a fresh new approach to printing were we tried to go completely cloud with printing. Ended up in becoming successful in other areas especially in lenitcular printing. This logo worked well with the two colours and became common signature on over 250,000 3D postcards sold over 12 months. Unfortunately due to equipment failure the business depleted.

Striking and bold logo communicating the brand quite well. Yellow being of action and the state infiltrating the text gave it an edge. But the ant in it's position and it's curled nature was to present the pest killing aspect of it all.

Regal strong and clear design to imply a heirachy in importation and distribution. As an American importer I thought it represented his character quite well.

Revamp of an old tired logo. This logo became prominent in the Oxenford area on the Gold Coast with large signage and a fleet of 6 vehicles all sporting this logo. The showroom factory utilised the state in a 3 dimensional look with a massive 20x4m banner skin.

Originally Shane Summers Constructions which we shortened to SSConstructions for the client in order for a shorter and less individual brand for a large developer.

This logo communicates the brand of trade quite simple and effectively. Nothing too special about it but not much you could fault either.

Branded multilayer Stainless Steel piping systems imported into Australia. The blue was to indicate liquid and the general layout was indicative of the piping ability.

Circular logo at request of the client. The surfer silhouette was an essential addition even though the text indicates surf we wanted to present a more image focused design that would communicate the brand.

Japan meets Australia. The red dot from the japanese flag against an either contrasted black or white back drop text or vice versa. Branded for a restaurant which harness the logo quite well and looked exceptional amongst the napkins and other restaurant crockery.

Block masculine text and imagery to indicate the builders stature and strength in his trade.

Reflects all elements of this Business' trade within the logo's dimmed text. The business name had to reflect exactly what this niche tradesperson constructs as well as be multicoloured and work on various app programs.

Loved doing this logo with Tattoo artists. It is interesting receiving two different approaches to form a unique outcome. The Koi fish are disguised within the text but reflect a tattoo design quite well.

Sketch and scan then colour and shade with the computer. This logo had to represent a strong and deadly character in representing the bobcats that the customer owned.

The camera lens or microscope symbology as well as the colouring took this logo into a minimalist approach.

Hardcore and edgy as the X would entail. Went for the inspiration from the ever popular extreme games and although does not represent cleaning, it does represent their speed and agility with the trade.

This was a logo designed for a couple who where beginning a new venture into home wares and textiles. I'd developed a unique Kamon (Japanese Flower Emblem) Which has a Bell Flower (beauty), Passion Flower (nobility), and then Swords (that weird three pronged white thing on top of them both to represent masculinity). They were aiming at the gay market so I thought the masculinity in a contemporary floral suited quite nicely, especially that they were going into the textile market.
